Makerversity

An innovative community of makers based in Somerset House, Makerversity provides workspaces, tools and learning programmes for a discipline-hopping group of entrepreneurial creatives. Launched in 2015, MVWorks is an experimental open-ended programme designed to support the work of nine creative individuals and groups who are exploring the possibilities of technology in art, design and other fields of making. Selected from a pool of more than 100 applicants, MVWorks participants can take advantage of funding support, professional guidance bespoke to their project and a programme of learning and networking events intended to help them take their idea to the next level, whatever it may be.
