Helmed by the gifted Finnish import Emmi Salonen, Studio EMMI is a London-based graphic design practice specialising in brand and event identities, marketing campaigns, digital media and good old-fashioned paper stuff. Founded in 2005, the studio has worked with some of the biggest names in arts, culture and retail and commerce, focusing on projects and companies with a strong positive message at their heart – whether that’s working with heritage furniture from Artek or space-making for Somerset House’s Utopia Fair. The studio’s clients have included the BBC, Tate Britain, Wallpaper*, The Body Shop, the Design Museum and University College Hospital, where Studio EMMI’s love of colour and positivity is put to inspiring use improving the experience of both patients and staff of its children’s ward. Emmi herself lectures on design at universities around the UK; has written the fascinating study of print communications in culture, Common Interest: Documents; and speaks at design events and conferences around the world.

WHAT WE DID FOR Studio EMMI
Zetteler is delighted to help spread awareness of Studio EMMI’s design mission (and not only because our founder Sabine shares Emmi’s Finnish heritage, although that certainly helps). We provide the studio with PR guidance, spread the word about its contributions to both graphic design and our world as a whole, and help connect Emmi with the brands, institutions and people likely to benefit from her studio’s talent and expertise.
