Zetteler is a creative-sector agency working to build a better world.
We partner with clients across the globe that share our values – in the fields of architecture and public realm, design, craft and beyond. Through strategic communications services including consultancy, PR and filmmaking, we help creative individuals, businesses and institutions with purpose to share their stories, engage their audiences, evolve their brands, and achieve their goals.
Communications agency by name, community by nature, we believe that bringing people together is the most effective route to positive change.
We all have our own areas of expertise and experience – from arts institutions and design giants to global thought leaders – and that’s the advantage of Zetteler: when you work with us, you work with all of us.
Director
A leading voice in the UK creative sector, a vocal advocate for social justice, and a campaigner for equity across design and related industries. Sabine leverages her role as a connector, consultant and creative strategist to foreground community, widen access, and promote progressive business practice. Sabine is also a founder of the design-industry equity campaign Design Can, a trustee on the boards of Action on Empty Homes and the human rights charity Standing Voice, and a long-standing weekly volunteer with Hackney Night Shelter. For transparency (and for our BCorp certification), we add here that Zetteler Ltd is wholly owned by Sabine Zetteler.
Communications consultant
A communications specialist with expertise in strategy, publicity management and curation, Claire joined Zetteler after nearly two decades leading Claire Curtice Publicists, specialising in architecture with a focus on building the profiles of emerging practices and creative ateliers. A fellow of the RSA, Claire is interested in exploring creative intersections and, from 2005 to 2012, served as founding co-curator of the salon style events series atabrahams, which brought together practitioners from diverse sectors to push creative frontiers in different architectural settings. Committed to finding ways to repair our natural world, Claire is an RHS-qualified horticulturalist.
Communications consultant
Inspired by collaboration and motivated by climate and social justice, Emily is an active grassroots campaigner, systems-driven organiser, and instinctive connector. She joined Zetteler after studying furniture design and making, and having worked in communications for one of the UK's largest trade shows. She has extensive experience developing and delivering campaigns for individuals and organisations at all scales, with an emphasis on design, architecture, the built environment and the wider creative sector.
Editor
Anthony is a multitasking freelance writer, copywriter and editor with a background in travel, design, food and snarky emails about punctuation. He has worked in editorial for over 15 years – editing books, putting magazines together, developing tone of voice for international brands, and penning website copy, press releases, ecomms and more for clients large and small. He has been at the heart of Zetteler since the company’s beginnings in 2012, when Sabine convinced him to commit his typing finger to helping champion her expanding list of clients.
Publicist
Isabelle came to Zetteler with a deep and diverse understanding of the intricacies and interconnections of creative culture, care of a boundary-hopping career that has taken her from independent arts publishing to future-mapping for organisations spanning design, governance and technology. Having spun a degree in History of Art into a master’s in Anthropology, Isabelle has followed her fascination with the meanings embodied in art, material culture and performance down numerous lines of enquiry – including writing criticism for publications such as Art Review and Flash Art, and her own annual print magazine, Motor Dance Journal.
Graphic Design
Zetteler’s go-to graphic genius, Zara is a multi-faceted designer whose cup truly runneth over with creativity. Having carved a freelance career in the arts and culture space, Zara collaborates with progressive organisations on projects that promote diversity, sustainability and innovation – making her the perfect fit for Team Zetteler. As well as lending her design skills and imagination to our projects, Zara is responsible for the various graphic expressions of industry-equity non-profit Design Can, while pursuing her own practice as an artist, designer and screen-printer.
Copywriter
Landing in London from Limerick, Chris is an artist, writer and all-round creative polymath with a first in fine art. Before he joined Zetteler, Chris learned about design and communications while in-house at the Design Museum, started editing his thrice-yearly publication The Emotional Art Magazine, worked at a gallery, receiving grants and awards for his own art, and writing about topics such as biennales and gentrification, Adam Curtis and contemporary dance, #MeToo and art-world scandals.
Media researcher
Writer, designer, creative director and harvester of ideas, Hardeep has worked as an investor, strategic advisor and brand story-teller over the course of her career, and is the founder of the meaning-driven design studio per se London, which has been fastidiously producing one life-enriching product at a time since 2016. As well as exploring the fundamental nature of reality through the cross-disciplinary publication Everyone’s Business and her Architecture of Contemplation podcast, Hardeep somehow finds space in her already richly packed life to act as Zetteler’s lightning rod for news, trends, cultural currents and developing thinking across the creative industries.
PR coordinator
Jaxx is a data specialist, virtuoso administrator and systems evangelist who has spent over 25 years keeping organisations running smoothly. Her career has taken her through various fields in both the public and private sector, ranging from crystallography and construction to healthcare and education – including 14 years as data manager for an East London secondary school. Today, she brings her fierce logic, passion for problem solving, and laser eye for detail to Zetteler’s communication systems.
Finance
Akiko is Zetteler’s number-cruncher extraordinaire, turning her considerable talents to keeping the business in the black since she joined the team in 2020. After starting her career in retail, managing shops in Covent Garden, Akiko followed her passion into the culinary sphere. She spent several years working as a food studies assistant and baker, before exchanging buns for bottom lines and retraining as a freelance bookkeeper. Today, she specialises in the creative sector, keeping the finances flowing for a stellar roster of clients in design, crafts, media, and more – including Design Can and Zetteler.

In 2019, Andy released Last Stop Coney Island, his acclaimed documentary on the life and work of New York street photographer Harold Feinstein.
