Resplendent, fearless and on a mission, ANF is a multidisciplinary creative force whose work challenges the norms, assumptions and prejudices of the modern architectural sector. Based in London, with mixed Japanese and Argentine heritage, Adam and their atelier span several strands of output, encompassing bold, often provocative and invariably colourful interventions in public space (like the Babs' Baldachino monument that paid homage to Birmingham’s queer community during the recent Commonwealth Games); product and furniture collaborations with brands and organisations (such as the beautiful porcelain vessels and wooden furniture they created for Lebanon’s Beit Collective, or the exquisite handmade tiles they designed for Italy’s Botteganove); and an expansive and exuberant range of apparel, prints and merchandise.
A conversation with Adam can leave your mind reeling in all sorts of directions for days (much like their work), and we’re excited to be helping them share their visions and ideas over the coming months. There are some extraordinary projects in the pipeline – including a new range of Beirut-made furniture, a 57m London Bridge mosaic, a major public work in Bristol, and a head-turning intervention in a Croydon skyscraper, and a major new public artwork in Paddington.
