Created to champion hyperlocal design and innovation while empowering the next creative generation, Atelier100 is a new collaboration between H&M and IKEA’s biggest franchisee, Ingka Group. Launched in 2022, the pilot programme saw a multidisciplinary group of 14 creatives living and working around London create an eclectic collection of products, spanning fashion, furniture, lighting and objects for the home. Supported by a thorough business-mentorship and incubation programme delivered by industry experts, the creatives worked with locally sourced materials and locally based manufacturers to bring their ideas to life. The launch collection was unveiled in Atelier100’s multifunctional concept store and creative space in Hammersmith, West London.
We were introduced to the Atelier100 team by ma-tt-er founder Seetal Solanki, one of the programme’s mentors and a long-standing friend (and former client) of Zetteler. Always happy to see big brands thinking small, we were delighted to support the Atelier100 team with the launch of their first design collection, and again as they launch an open call to recruit a fresh creative cohort for 2023.
