At the vanguard of London’s workplace revolution, De Beauvoir Block is a reinvented Edwardian industrial building housing a network of 33 spaces and studios, occupied by creative enterprises of all sizes, from freelancers and one-man bands to design agencies and – we’re proud to say – Zetteler.
Team Zetteler has been proud to be based in De Beauvoir Block ever since we pitched up to our top-floor studio. We’re hugely invested in the Block, so we’re beyond delighted to be coordinating an ongoing events programme designed to nurture connections and partnerships between Block tenants, London’s wider creative scene and the local community.
If there’s one thing we all love at Zetteler it’s books. Knowing that Disegno has a similar obsession, it felt right to join forces and host a book club together. With the very first edition taking place at the end of the month, Disegno’s editor-in-chief explains why reading, and then discussing that reading, can only be a good thing.
From Brexit woes to imminent species distinction, it’s easy to let the current climate get you down. Luckily designer and printmaker Anthony Burrill is on hand to remind us that there are some very, very good things in this life in the form of new collaborative print with letterpress legend Alan Kitching and an exhibition at Zetteler HQ, De Beauvoir Block.
