For over two decades, Erect Architecture has been focused on building a public realm that works for the common good. The RIBA-chartered practice was founded in London in 2003 by architects Barbara Kaucky and Susanne Tutsch, and today comprises a small and dynamic team of committed architects and designers with a shared culture of collaboration, curiosity and care.
With particular strengths in community architecture, public realm, landscape, research and user/stakeholder engagement strategies, the practice has won numerous awards for its thoughtful and sustainability-led public-sector projects, including the purpose-built visitor centre for Camley Street Natural Park in King’s Cross, Vauxhall Missing Link public realm framework, Woodhouse Urban Park and a catalogue of children’s play spaces throughout London and the South East.
Big admirers of Erect’s sincere and active commitment to empowering and enriching its team, alongside its positive vision for the public realm, Zetteler is working with the studio as it celebrates 21 years in practice and begins its third decade with a renewed emphasis on public realm and landscaping.
