Set up in 2018 by Rhonda Drakeford, Studio Rhonda is a design studio offering residential and commercial clients a cross-disciplinary array of creative services, encompassing interior design, creative direction and styling, furniture, product and print design. Rhonda herself has been at the forefront of the London design scene since graduating in graphic design for Central St Martins and co-founding the consultancy Multistorey with Harry Woodrow in 1997. Through Multistorey, she earned a reputation for material innovation and witty execution, working on high-profile projects for influential clients including the Design Museum, the V&A, and the Science Museum. In 2009, Rhonda launched the design store (and Bloomsbury landmark) Darkroom with Lulu Roper-Caldbeck, pivoting to focus on online retail and product design in 2017. Today, she brings her distinctive love of pattern and texture, colour and contrast to Studio Rhonda’s clients, balancing a function-focused approach with playful and surprising sensory elements.
We’ve been devotees of Darkroom design since its bricks-and-mortar days, so we’re really happy to be helping Rhonda showcase her eponymous studio’s projects – one of which, we should point out, is Zetteler’s own office. So if you ever want to see what Studio Rhonda can do for a space, just pay us a visit!
