Founded by former fashion editor and creative curator Deep Kailey in 2017, Without Shape Without Form is a unique, volunteer-led arts organisation bringing together art, mental health, culture and spirituality. By exploring and unpacking the universal value of Sikh teachings in a contemporary context, WSWF seeks to spark dialogue and encourage moments of multicultural exchange, overcoming barriers, preconceptions and pigeonholing. Promoting awareness, understanding and discussion about the mind, the organisation runs a permanent gallery in Slough, as well as the Arts Council-supported travelling exhibition Journey of the Mind, which has been touring the UK since 2021, visiting Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow, and Nottingham, before reaching its final destination later in 2023 (watch this space for details). The exhibition features digital painting from Kanwar Singh and animation from motion designer Christian Wood, alongside community-specific public programming developed to connect, engage and share ideas through the arts to help make sense of the world today.
Any organisation on a mission to bring people together, spark conversations, celebrate beauty, share wisdom and make us all happier is a winner in our book. Zetteler is excited to support WSWF as it brings the Journey of the Mind to its conclusion, and to ensure it reaches the audience it deserves.
Socially-driven, story-rich highlights for the festival.
