Curved Twist

Combining eye-catchingly iridescent knitted ribbon with an ingeniously engineered, infinitely configurable shutter system, multifaceted designer Kia Utzon-Frank and textile artist Fay McCaul created Curved Twist for Collect Open 2017. The monumental colour-changing screen took the best of both their talents to create an immersive, interactive and entirely new expression of art, craft and design innovation.
