Levi’s A/W 17 Made & Crafted collection was inspired by Iceland’s extreme elements, from its mossy hills and steaming springs to the volcanic terrain and powerful glaciers. To celebrate the collection, Riposte magazine has commissioned a series of projects inspired by the Icelandic elements of fire and ice by women spanning different creative disciplines. The project comprises a film, created by digital artist Lucy Hardcastle; a soundscape by DJ Throwing Shade; and a screen print created using ink made from ground volcanic rock, by Patternity.
This film provides a behind the scenes look at the diverse making processes that punctuate the collection.
