Reflection Room is the first ever London Design Festival project to be installed in the V&A’s Prince Consort Gallery, a vaulted space that historically housed more than 30,000 textile samples. The immersive light installation comprises 56 custom-made Barrisol panels (a form of stretched ceiling used to architecturally enhance spaces). Vivid orange and blue hues transform the space into a reflective chamber of coloured light. This film follows designer Flynn Talbot throughout the design process, from conception to installation, and charts the challenges and triumphs that come with executing such a large-scale, multi-component project.
