The Design District is a major addition to London’s landscape, bringing 16 new buildings that offer purpose-built workspace for the capital’s creative industries. At the heart of Greenwich Peninsula, opposite the iconic O2, this is a new neighbourhood that continues a tradition of innovation and making that has been central to the city’s identity for centuries.

6a Architects
6a Architects is best known for its contemporary art galleries, educational buildings, artists’ studios and residential projects, often in sensitive historic environments.
Adam Khan Architects
Set-up by Adam Khan, the practice has established an international reputation for their built work of sensitivity, elegance and refinement addressing key issues including: social inclusion, sustainability and the vitality of public space.
Architecture 00
Architecture 00 is a practice whose track record includes a range of activities and buildings that have shaped our built environment. The practice is renowned for bringing together skills in action-led research, urban design strategy, architecture and place making with a detailed understanding of how the physical fabric of buildings can be accompanied by innovative, engaging and collaborative processes.
Assemblage
Founded by Hannah Corlett, Assemblage is a practice of architects and designers based in London, and are the master planners for the Design District. The practice has worked across large scale, culturally diverse projects from a variety of private and public sector organisations in the UK and internationally.
Barozzi Veiga
Established in Barcelona in 2004, Barozzi Veiga has since worked internationally on public and private projects and its work has received several prestigious distinctions. Their body of work includes cultural, educational and residential buildings as well as civic projects.
David Kohn Architects
Since 2007, David Kohn’s practice has been recognized for their global work on arts, educational and residential buildings. The practice drives excellence in design through collaboration with clients, consultant teams, contractors and the end user.
Mole Architects
From 1997, Mole Architects has worked with a clear vision to make better cities. Mole recognizes that well-designed buildings make life easier, more comfortable, and more pleasurable. The practice’s ethos is to make buildings with cutting-edge sustainability alongside colour, form and material quality.
SelgasCano
A collaboration of José Selgas and Lucía Cano, SelgasCano is a world-renowned practice for delivering spaces with purpose and the end user in mind. Some of their most prolific work in London includes the Serpentine Gallery, Second Home in Spitalfields and most recently they designed a 90,000 sq ft Second Home campus in Los Angeles.

Schulze + Grassov
Schulze + Grassov is a studio of architects, landscape architects, urban designers and anthropologists led by Oliver Schulze and Louise Grassov. Based in Copenhagen, with an international portfolio of projects in Denmark, Germany, the UK and the United States, the studio integrates urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, mobility planning and urban research.
