Architecture photographer, owner of De Beauvoir location house Ed’s Shed and close friend of Zetteler Ed Reeve recently found himself in Tokyo, where he took time out to shoot a series of photographs capturing the city’s most impressive luxury outlets. The stunning buildings — designed by a plethora of celebrated architects including Takenaka, Herzog & de Meuron, Jun Aoki and Renzo Piano — house Stella McCartney, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Miu Miu.
If you’re a regular visitor to Zetteler’s Instagram or Twitter feeds, you might well have noticed a sudden influx of candid shots of Ed’s Shed, the architecturally striking house photographer Ed Reeve built himself in the heart of De Beauvoir. Ed has been a friend of Sabine’s for some time (fun fact: she actually used to rent a desk in his studio, back in the day) and these days the shiny new Zetteler HQ is directly opposite his unbelievable home.
Ed’s two decades of experience in the world of photography have cemented his role as the go-to figure for luxury and retail brands who want to showcase the beauty of their carefully and meticulously design locations. Past projects have seen him working alongside clients such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Gucci, Nike, Ian Schrager, David Adjaye, Jimmy Choo, Ozwald Boateng, as well as producing commissioned work for pieces in publications including The Sunday Times Style, The Guardian, The Telegraph Magazine, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Arena, FHM, Dazed & Confused and Conde Nast Traveller.
