Football stickers: new Nirvana CPH + Studio Blackburn Euro 2016 wall chart launch

After months of excitement and media speculation, UEFA Euro 2016 is almost upon us. Kicking off the quadrennial celebration of European football with a friendly between England and Portugal, fans across the country will dig out their shirts and fine-tune their anthem-singing in time for kick-off.

Not ones to miss an opportunity to combine their passion for both design and football, creative production house Nirvana CPH and Paul Blackburn, of design agency Studio Blackburn, have continued their biennial tradition of creating beautiful tournament wall charts. They will be celebrating their latest edition with a match-viewing party at the Shoreditch home of Nirvana CPH for the England v Portugal game.

Unlike the static charts the pairing has produced in previous years, Nirvana CPH and Paul Blackburn have introduced an interactive element for this year’s tournament, drawing inspiration from the Panini stickers that are synonymous with collectible-obsessed childhoods. Boasting sleek and simple graphic design on high-quality papers produced by G. F Smith, the new wall charts combine smart pared-back design with fan-friendly functionality in the form of user-applied stickers in team colours.
