From Monotype to Milan: March press highlights

We spent most of March preparing, celebrating and announcing brilliant things from brilliant people. From Breed’s tenth anniversary, to the launch of the Jock Kinneir Library, there was a lot of exploring the values of the past and embracing the potential of the future. Breed

Olivia Triggs spent March celebrating a decade of her unstoppable agency Breed. We worked closely with It’s Nice That editor Owen Pritchard to help him exclusively showcase the eleven new artworks created by Breed’s artists to mark the profound anniversary.

Everything is Connected

Following the success of Structure, Klubben, DOGA Design and Architecture Norway, Norwegian Crafts and Jotun returned to Ventura Lambrate, Milan for Salone del Mobile 2017. Coverage ahead of the show was extensive (including a print feature in France’s Milk Decoration magazine), with writers including Sight Unseen editor Jill Singer and Dezeen’s Alice Morby. Online stories placed the show as a must-see for visitors to Milan Design Week.

Team Zetteler is loving working with the wonderful Jock Kinneir Library so we were thrilled when AIGA editorial James Cartwright resident decided to explore the project in a dedicated feature for Eye on Design.

Monotype

The font specialists at Monotype are constantly blowing our minds with their rapid fire approach to typography, brand and technology development. Recent launches of the Masqualero and Tazugane Gothic typefaces have attracted the attention of Digital Arts’ Miriam Harris and Design Week’s Aimée McLaughlin, while Thought Starters podcast producer David Michon invited Monotype’s Nadine Chahine to talk all thing type with Pentagram’s Marina Willer.

Paper merchants G . F Smith recently launched a brand new flagship showroom in the heart of London’s much-loved West End. Elle Decoration included the space as one of Soho’s must-visit spaces in the area’s design guide.
