We’ve made a thing! A really useful and interesting thing that we’re extremely proud of. Given that this year’s LDF is a bumper one for team Zetteler, with more clients exhibiting than ever before, we thought it would be a good idea to cram all the essential info into one easily navigable, beautifully designed downloadable pdf, containing everything you need to know about what’s going on at The London Design Festival this month in Zettelerworld.
As well as key details of the exhibitions, events, talks, workshops and launch parties taking place around town on 17–25 September, we’ve included in-depth interviews with the major players involved, including:
- Above Sea Level’s Aimee Hartley on creating an independent wine magazine from scratch;
- Hamish Makgill of Studio Makgill on the meeting point between furniture making and graphic design
- Fran Edgerley telling the story behind Granby Workshop, the product-making offshoot of Assemble’s Turner Prize-winning urban-restoration project.
And before you accuse us of being too biased: It’s not just a Zetteler client-only fest; we’ve also included our own top picks of the LDF events that we’re most excited about – from the inaugural London Design Biennale to Martino Gamper’s No Ordinary Love.
We enlisted the marvellous Therese Vandling to handle the graphic design (thank you Therese!), and, thanks to a little help from the peerless paper folk at G . F Smith and the ever-ready presses of YouLovePrint we were even able to publish a limited-edition print version, which you can get a peek at below.
