If you’ve never experienced the overwhelming excitement (and ever-so-slight fear of trying something new) that comes with attending a creative workshop, we suggest you to sign-up for one immediately. Soul-soothing joy guaranteed. Don’t know where to look? Cass Sculpture Foundation has got you covered. We are over the moon to be able to say that Cass’ upcoming programme of workshops features woodcut print specialist Alex Booker and plasticine mastermind Wilfrid Wood.
Alex Booker runs Booker Print House from his studios in Limehouse, where he explores the properties of ink and wood in an ongoing series of experimental works. Opening his arms to curious of the world, Alex regularly hosts workshops at his studio where individuals and small groups can come in and spend a day uncovering the intricacies of one of the world’s oldest printmaking methods. Following the popularity of his Limehouse workshops, Cast will host an introductory woodcut workshop, hosted by Alex, on 8 July 2017. Find out more here.
