Triennale Milano
3-12 June 2022
Forest Tales is a major furniture exhibition by AHEC at the Triennale museum. The crates that transported the furniture to Milan will be used to construct an immersive installation, and will feature an eye-catching hand-painted anamorphic forest mural. Curated by Studio Swine, the exhibition brings together 22 pieces of furniture from 3 highly acclaimed AHEC projects alongside a brand new collection from Riva. Each piece has been made from American hardwoods, including red oak, maple, and cherry, as the exhibition aims to promote the creative use of sustainably sourced woods. Once the exhibition is finished, the same crates will be re-used again.
*Strictly embargoed until Saturday 4 June 2022*
The Perpetuum Mobile exhibition will show another side to the famed Spanish architect Enric Miralles (1955-2000), presenting his dynamic moving furniture designs as part of Interni Design Re-Generation at the University of Milan supported by AHEC. Running from 6–13 June 2022, Perpetuum Mobile brings together recreations of nine of the furniture pieces and objects that the architect designed lovingly alongside his partner Benedetta Tagliabue for their home in Barcelona.

That’s why the Zetteler team has opted to stay grounded and travel the 1088 kilometres from London to Milan by rail. We began the tradition in 2019 and we’re sticking with the sustainable route as the fair returns.
Could this become the new normal for Milan attendees from countries in and around Europe?
